
Navi, founded by Flipkart founder Sachin Bansal nearly eight years ago, has raised its first outside institutional round from Prosus. The $100Mn round has reportedly valued Navi at $1.3Bn, though no formal disclosure has been made.
Sachin Bansal is known for founding Flipkart along with co-founder Binny Bansal, the Indian e-commerce giant which was later acquired by US giant Walmart. Both Bansals took full exits from their ecommerce venture, making them billionaires, with Sachin Bansal founding the fintech Navi.
In the FY ending March 2026, Navi said it generated nearly $323 Mn, while net loss grew to $48.74 Mn.
Navi offers a host of digital-first financial services, though has mostly seen popularity on its quick digital loan products. Available to download as an app, the platform uses Digital KYC to allow users access a slew of services including personal loans, home loans, and health insurance with zero paperwork.
Bansal said the Prosus investment was a “strong endorsement” of the institution Navi is building
